When will my order be shipped?
Because we keep everything in stock, your order is usually shipped the same day the order in placed - if you can get the order into us by or before 3PM Central.
What is your return policy?
DVRKits will accept and honor exchanges or refunds on all items that are within the 30 days of purchase. You must include everything that was originally shipped to you and the item must be in perfect condition. If items are missing, you will be charged up to 15% missing items fee.
Is the ordering process secure?
Yes, it is very secure. We have taken every measure necessary to ensure the protection of your transaction.

Geovision DVR FAQ's
How many days can I record with my DVR?
The length time recorded depends on number of cameras, frames per second (FPS) and amount of available hard disk space. It would be best to give us a call if you have any specific needs concerning how many days your require. We can help you make the right selection.
How does motion detection work?
You do not need any special hardware for this to work. The motion detection works through the software in the DVR system by recording video when pixels in the image change. This can be adjusted according to your needs based on the camera.
Am I able to remotely view live & recorded video?
Yes. All of the Geovision DVR Card products offer a remote internet feature that will allow you to watch live, pre-recorded as well as listen to any microphone you have at the DVR location.
Will I need to buy a user license?
No. You can add as many users as well as set permissions based on the users you give access to the DVR. Also, there is no restriction on how many users can access the system remotely.
What kind of internet do I need?
Usually any kind of DSL or Cable will be fine - 256 or greater will work just fine. However if you own a store or a venue that runs Credit Card processing over the same internet connection, we do not recommend that you have the DVR on that same line. If this is the case, please keep an eye on the speed as it may affect your ability to process Credit Card transactions. If you have any questions regarding this, please give us a call and we will be happy to help.
What about audio?
If you add a microphone to your DVR system, you can listen to live audio as well as record. You can set the microphone sensitivity in the software. Please check with your local state and Federal laws concerning audio recording.
What about Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7?
Any version of Microsoft Windows XP & Vista will work just fine without any problems. Please keep you system updated with all of the latest Microsoft updates. Geovision is working fast to get Windows 7 working 100%
