GeoVision DVR Cards : GV-600B DVR Card Series

The GeoVision GV-600B DVR Card product line is one of the most popular and most sold geovision DVR Cards we offer. This is due to the fact that the GV-600B is a cost effective solution for your video surveillance needs...not to mention that it also doesn't require heavy system resources to run the surveillance system. It operates at 30 frames per second. It is important to keep in mind that the FPS is divided by the number of cameras that you have connected to the GV-600B, however the software will automatically shift the speed to those cameras that detect the motion. This is what we would consider the perfect entry level or beginner DVR Card surveillance solution.

Like all of the other geovision dvr cards, the video is recorded in a FIFO (first in, first out) method. This way, you never have to manage the recorded video.

Key Points to Consider:

  • Will not put a resource load or burden on your PC.
  • Easy to install, setup and configure.
  • Oldest  Geovsiion DVR Card in the line; Very stable and Reliable.
  • Meeting the PC system requirements is very economic.

Easy to Install...

The GeoVision GV-600B DVR Card is very easy to install and almost anyone can install it into a PC.. Once you have the GV-600B you simply find a PC... Preferrably one that has an Intel based motherboard, XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Server 2008 operating system. Next, make sure it has at least a Pentium 4 processor with 1GB of RAM.

We have found that this particular DVR Card will run well on almost any Intel based system, even if its somewhat "underpowered". This is due to the fact that the GV-600B doesn't use alot of system resources, so it is very stable.

Just insert the DVR Card into a vacant slot on your motherboard, load the software and you're in business! After that you simply connect your security cameras and you're off to conducting some seriously sophisticated video surveillance.

Customer Reviews For GeoVision DVR Cards : GV-600B DVR Card Series

GEOVISION GV-600B,16 (GV60016)
Russel Freeman This is a good DVR Card BUT it is not fast enough for what we need. We have a grocery store in Alabama with 16 cameras on it - it records at 30 frames per second, so the store is always full and busy = slow recorded video. This is my only complaint but which is not a problem with the dvr card, we need to buy one with a faster frame rate. Just my 2 cents worth. Other than that, good product and knowledgeable company to buy from. They helped me out with every step of the installation and configuration.
GEOVISION GV-600B,4 (GV6004)
Ravi Patel I don\'t noramlly comment or write reviews but. this is a very cheap and good dvr card - genuine geovision and the people here gave me really good technical support. They remotely configured my router for me for free! For the price, the GV-600 4 works very well. I would recommend this to anyone! Don\'t buy a counterfeit off of EBAY, - I did that and the dvr card did not last 4 months. AAA+++ service and technical support here.
Steve Cummings I bought this to put in my hunting camp in Mississippi. It works well and I can view it from my iPhone to see if there is any activity going on. Easy to install and get running. Cheap price, I love it. -Steve
